Community Outreach
The Gathering supports our local community by donating $1500 each month to different organizations who are making a positive difference in the lives of our neighbors. Additionally, volunteers from our church give hundreds of hours each year to uplift and serve our community. The overarching purpose of our church's Community Outreach program is to inspire and enable the people of The Gathering to give time, energy, and resources by serving the community together in a coordinated effort. We do this by creating organized events and focused ways to show God's love to our neighbors in need. The Gathering partners with several key organizations in our area, including:
Pirate Packs non-perishable food packs for students in West Carrollton
Victory Project life-changing mentorship program boys in Dayton
Family Promise homeless shelter and life assistance program in Lebanon
Sleep in Heavenly Peace build and deliver beds to children in the Dayton area
Threads free clothing store in Miamisburg
Miamisburg Schools including Mark Twain Primary and Mound Intermediate
